We spent July 4th in Wamego with some friends from daycare. Wamego has lots of activities to celebrate Independence Day. We went over to watch the parade, ride the carnival rides then watch the fireworks.

Surprisingly, this is where Mason was for a lot of the parade!! You can see the semi in the background. That truck and similar ones were all honking their horns and he was scared! Even after he had honked those very horns in vehicles when we were in SW Kansas for harvest! Unpredictable...
This was my favorite of the parade! This motorized horse reminded me of the one in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Matt was saying before the parade that he wanted to have something that he could drive in a parade. I think this is what he should get!!!
The kids of course enjoyed the carnival rides with their friend.
