Our small church had a Christmas program last night. Mason and Maiya were on stage for a little while as a shepherd and angel. You can see Maiya on the front right turning to look over her shoulder. Mason is the third shepherd from the left, kneeling at the manger.
The ladies in charge of the children's program had told Mason that when the program was over, he could go play in the gym. They neglected to tell him that there were a few more songs before the entire program was over and then he could go to the gym to play. The cute little shepherd sulked on daddy's lap for awhile.
Mason and Maiya got to help Grandma Le Ann make a birthday cake for Jesus. We had it at the church, and the whole group sang Happy Birthday to Jesus! Maiya thought this was pretty special.
