Matt and I put together a church float for the Community Day parade this year. The theme for Community Day was, "The Last Minute." On the truck pulling our float, we had signs that said "Give 'The Last Minute' of the day to Jesus. Kids on the float were kneeling at the bed praying, and one was sitting in the lap of the lady in the rocking chair reading Bible storybooks. We had some people riding in the truck and others walking behind the float handing out candy and little prizes from the Christian bookstore. Our float, simple as it was, won first prize for the float division and first prize overall.
