Thanksgiving 2009

We celebrated Thanksgiving in Pampa, Texas, with Matt's family this year. We were thankful for beautiful weather, and lots of time outdoors! The day after Thanksgiving, it was sunny and 72 degrees!

After Thanksgiving dinner, we headed to the park.

We had lots of fun with cousins Paul and Kimberly. The kids LOVE spending time with them.

Matt was teaching Mason the proper way to hold the football when he throws.

At the Great Grandparents house, Mason and Maiya spent a lot of time playing with Paul and Kimberly. I'm not sure Mason agrees with Paul's story (above).

...so Mason makes up a story of his own?

Mason talked Paul into building a combine out of Lego's. Not too bad for a city boy!

Kimberly was kind enough to let Maiya style her hair!

Greatpa and Greatma were wonderful sitters for Matt and I while we went shopping and out to eat on my birthday. Of course, the kids talked them into eating out at McDonald's, which just happens to have a big play place! I don't think anyone minded. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for letting us have some time alone and for spending some quality time with Mason and Maiya! Mason asked me why Greatma had to live in Pampa because he thought she needed to live in Minneola!
