Grandma Le Ann, Great Ma Smith, Great Pa Smith, Maiya and I all braved the cold to watch Mason's field day. The grade school kids got to spend the morning at the football field participating in races and track field events. 
The preschoolers did a 50-yard dash and a shuttle relay. The picture above shows Mason taking off with the relay baton! He was very serious when he was running! He did a great job and had fun.
