"I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

Thoughts of a 6 year old

Our little man has had some good lines the past few days.

This past Sunday, we went to church with Grandma and Grandpa
Smith.  Their pastor was quite loud and animated.  Mason listened and watched for a long time.  He wanted his Bible opened to the scripture we were all looking at.  He sat on my lap for awhile, and I whispered in his ear, "Mason, do you want to teach people about Jesus when you get older?"  Mason replied, "No.  But I'll teach them how to drive combines!"

Last night, I put Mason to bed early.  His sister was still up, and helping me with my medicine. He was not happy to be in bed, especially when he had wanted to help with my medicine, too.  After about 10 minutes in bed, he came to me with a sad face and said, "Jesus doesn't want anyone in bed right now!"  He was very cute, but I still had to send him back to bed.
