We were able to spend some extra time in Colorado after my doctor appointment on Friday. We took the kids with us and enjoyed the get-a-way.

We surprised Maiya with a trip to the American Girl Doll store. She thoroughly enjoyed it! She picked out an outfit for her Bitty Baby boy, an American Girl Doll brush, an American Girl Doll backpack and an American Girl shirt for herself. Whew! (The look on her face made it totally worth it!)
You can't go to the Springs without a trip to Garden of the Gods, right? There was a big storm just south of the park, and it made the scenery even prettier with the dark clouds in the background.
The Kissing Camels ~ I don't think our kids ever did figure this one out! We also visited Focus on the Family, the outlet mall, lots of good restaurants, and some good friends.
