Christmas morning began at 6:30 a.m. in our house. Mason was the first to discover that the stockings had been filled and the cookies eaten!
Maiya's stocking contained the Disney movie Brave, 2 pairs of fluffy socks, a KSU headband, a shirt, Hershey's kisses and a kickstand and water bottle holder for her bike. Mason's stocking contained one of the Drive Through History movies, socks, underwear, black exercise pants, a metal target for his BB gun and some Hershey's kisses.
They also opened gifts from mom and dad. Maiya got the dress above for her American Girl Doll with a matching dress in her size. We also got her and her doll matching nightgowns. Mason got Angry Bird pajamas (his favorite game right now), Just Dance 3 for the Wii, and the cowboy boots he's holding in the picture below. (That's Uncle Mark in the chair on the left. He's fortunate enough to also be awakened by Mason early Christmas morning!)
Maiya also got a horse for her American Girl doll. Think we went overboard with all the AG Doll stuff? We consider it an investment! She plays with her dolls everyday and at every play date. Well worth the money!
