We drove to Kansas City Saturday to do some shopping and have another visit to the Children's Farmstead. We had good weather and the kids had a great time.
As we first walked in, we saw this "planter" and Mason asked for his picture with it!!

We tried to do some things we didn't get to last time. One of those was visiting the one room schoolhouse.

Mason found this auger that had metal balls in it. So when you turned the wheel, the balls were pushed up the auger, through the clear tube, through the bins and back down. He has a fascination with any auger, but he also loved the noise!

The Farmstead has play areas, too! Maiya stopped rocking her duck long enough to let me take a picture!

We also decided to try bottle feeding the baby goats this time. The goats are pretty aggressive and Maiya wanted daddy to hold her the whole time. Mason did good, though.

Matt was giggling at Maiya being so scared!

After some shopping at Legends, we had supper at T-Rex Cafe.

So this picture of Mason is a little blurry, but I wanted to give a little idea of the atmosphere of the restaurant. There are noises going the whole time, too.
And as you walk in, there's a big T-Rex to greet you. The atmosphere and the noise had Maiya covering her ears while we were waiting to be seated!
