Our Aristocrat Pear tree is blooming! I stopped the car in front of the tree this morning as we were pulling away from the house on our way to preschool and daycare. This is how the conversation went:
Me: Look kids! Our tree is blooming!
Mason and Maiya: Ooooh... It's pretty. Wow.
Mason: Who did that?
Me: God did that.
(A bit of silence.)
Maiya: God sneaked out of bed!
I didn't have the heart to tell her that God doesn't sleep! What a precious moment for me.
