Saturday morning we woke up to a much calmer day, covered in white. We were entertained for about 45 minutes watching a snow plow that got stuck at our northeast corner. The kids watched out their window...

The snowplow was rescued by a backhoe, and a little while later another backhoe came to help clear the road. I talked to one of the city workers today and he said they broke 3 chains trying to get the snowplow truck unstuck at our corner. He also said that was one of seven times they were stuck that morning!

Matt dug a path for our dogs to get out of the garage. Here's little Emma on her way back in the garage.
