I was making potato soup and the kids were snacking on saltines. As I was busy at the oven, I heard Maiya call out from the bathroom, "I did it!" Whenever I hear this from a 4 year old in the bathroom, several possibilities run through my mind...who knows what she could have done in there!? Then she appeared holding the crackers with one of her ponytail holders securing the package shut. She was very proud of herself for wrapping the ponytail correctly, and for coming up with such a wise solution to keeping our crackers fresh!
