Benefit Soup Luncheon
We had a benefit luncheon at our church for a young boy who needs expensive medicine to stay alive. We all volunteered to bring soup, cinnamon rolls, cheese, crackers, etc. I volunteered Mason and Maiya to take care of the celery. They were excited to have a part in helping raise money for the boy. They took turns washing celery and cutting it. It was the first time I let them use sharp knives and they were so focused on what they were doing, it wasn't even an issue!
