Today our small town hosted the annual "Pumpkins In the Park." They had games for the kids, pumpkin decorating contest, chili cook-off and dessert contest. Both of the kids entered pumpkins.
Maiya created a Despicable Me minion and took first place in her age division. Her reward was $10.
I'm sure it's no surprise to anyone who knows Mason that he wanted and Angry Bird pumpkin! He was very proud of his work.

Oscar the Grouch may have been my favorite, but I also really like the apple in the top right of the bottom picture. The "green worm" sticking out on the right side was a flexible straw. Cute!
