Our kids are more confident in water than they have ever been, but technical "diving" and "swimming" continues to elude them! Maiya practiced a lot of dives off the side of the pool.
Mason got brave enough on the last day of lessons to go down the slide. He kept his hands on the walls of the slide the entire time. He slowly inched his way out to the end then sat there a while before eventually deciding to jump in.
Maiya never went down the slide, but she did jump off the diving board.
Maiya: "Get your arm OFF me!"
"Now you can get a nice picture, mom."
