Our small town holds "Pumpkins in the Park" every fall. There are games for the kids, pumpkin decorating contest, chili cook-off and fall dessert contest. Mason and Daddy were on the swather all day so just Maiya and I went to the park. We were happy to see lots of Maiya's friends there.

The Minneola Civic Club hosted a coloring contest for kids. Maiya's entry won her first place and $10!
So, not all of this happened on the same day, but it was all the same week! Today, though, there was no school for parent-teacher conferences. The kids each had a friend over for the afternoon. It was a nice day and they played outside on the trampoline a lot. We decided to try some homemade soft pretzels for snacks. Maiya and Braegen were excited to get their hands dirty in the "powder" according to Braegen!

And, I didn't get a picture of the finished product. We ate the yummy pretzels with some homemade cheese dip. Fun afternoon with some cute, giggly, cheerleading girls!
